Peter Straub

Peter Straub was a two-time Bram Stoker Award winner and World Fantasy Award winner widely considered one of the most literary voices in horror fiction. Ghost Story (1979) is regarded as a masterpiece of the genre, and he collaborated with Stephen King on The Talisman and Black House. Straub's work blended literary sophistication with supernatural horror, and he mentored generations of genre writers before his death in 2022.
