Ia Genberg is a Swedish novelist whose debut The Details (original title: Detaljerna) won the Nordic Council's Literature Prize and the International Booker Prize in 2024. Written in precise, crystalline prose, The Details explores female friendship and memory through intimate portraits. Genberg is considered one of Sweden's most distinctive literary voices.
