About Troilus and Criseyde

Troilus and Criseyde (c. 1380–1387) — Chaucer's longest complete poem: the Trojan War love affair between Troilus and Criseyde, the matchmaker Pandarus who gives us the word 'pander,' and the psychological depth that Chaucer brings to all three characters. One of the supreme achievements of medieval English literature.
