About Dracula
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1897) is the foundational vampire novel in the English language — an epistolary horror story told through journals, letters, and newspaper clippings, following Jonathan Harker and Professor Abraham Van Helsing as they battle the Transylvanian vampire Count Dracula, who has come to England to spread his un-dead curse. The novel created the modern vampire myth, has never been out of print, and spawned one of the most influential characters in all of fiction. Stoker also wrote The Jewel of Seven Stars (1903) and The Lair of the White Worm (1911).
