About Anna Karenina
Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina (1878) is a standalone novel following two parallel stories: Anna Karenina's affair with Count Vronsky and its devastating consequences, and Konstantin Levin's search for meaning through work, marriage, and faith. Set in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the Russian countryside in the 1870s, it is widely considered one of the greatest novels ever written.
